: So, the question is: How and where do I have to define the path for the sprites?

If you have unziped PanoCube.zip in the right way you must have "sprites" folder in the same level as PanoCube.exe. For exaple you have MySprite.mov to embed into a QuickTime movie - first place it in the sprites folder:

\PanoCube.exe
\sprites\MySprite.mov

next edit the line 14 in the Script.txt:
MySprite.mov # autorotate. 0 = no (default). Place any ...

Put the edited Script.txt to a source panorama folder to activate it and drag-and-drop panoimage onto PanoCube.exe.
