: Is making six cube faces(JPEG, TIFF) from equirectangular panoramas possible?

Yes, it is possible to create TIFF cube faces. For this:
1. Open Script.txt in any text editor and change 0 to 1 in the begining of the line "0 # create tiles for editing ( 0 = NO, 1 = YES). Default NO." Save changes and copy the Script.txt to the same folder where your panorama(s) is(are).
2. Drag and drop a single panorama or the folder with panoramas onto PanoCube.exe to convert it.

After you finished with editing you could drag any ONE of cube faces again to convert it to a QuickTime movie.
